What are wedding drapes used for?
Ceremony backdrops, head-table backdrops, entryways, and softening the structure of a tent or hall. A fabric panel behind the focal point of the room gives photos a finished edge that bare walls never do.
Sheer or opaque — which drape fabric should I choose?
Sheer voile lets light through and reads airy — it layers beautifully in front of windows or string lights. Matte satin, velvet, and blackout panels are opaque: they carry color, hide what is behind them, and give a backdrop real presence. Many designs layer a sheer over an opaque base.
How many drape panels do I need?
It depends on the span you are covering and how full you want the fabric to gather — flat coverage takes fewer panels than a generously gathered look. Tell us the width and height you are working with and we will tell you the count.
What does the FR in some drape names mean?
FR marks the flame-resistant version of the fabric. Some venues require flame-resistant draping — check with yours, and if they do, choose the FR line and you are covered.
